Tumaini Malenga

A public health researcher in health systems and policy development, interested in policy development through health, social and economic progress, interested in human health behaviour with communicable diseases. Tumaini has project management experience in non-profit community development and clinical trial and operations health research. She is currently a Research and Policy Analyst at the African Institute for Development Policy (AFIDEP), based in the Malawi Office where she leads and supports projects in the health and wellbeing thematic area, focusing on research uptake and policy analysis for evidence-informed decision making. Tumaini is also a Young African Leaders Fellow with the School of Transnational Governance at the European University Institute.
